Newly opened Kanazawa, the sound of firewood
“Makinooto Kanazawa,” the annex of 2018 Hospitality Award winner “Makinooto,” has newly opened as an auberge limited to two groups a day in Kanazawa's Higashi Chaya district.
The "Villa Takinone Kanazawa" of "Takinone", winner of the 2018 Gault et Millau Hospitality Award, has newly opened as an auberge in March.
In Higashi Chaya-gai, close to Kanazawa's main sightseeing spots, you can enjoy a luxurious time with only 2 groups per day.

There are two types of guest rooms: "HIGASHI," a Western-style room with a sofa in the living room and bed room, and "NISHI," a Japanese-style room with a separate living room and bed and tatami space.
At "Japanese Cuisine Higashiyama Wagons", guests can enjoy counter-style kappo cuisine prepared by Tomokazu Imai, who served as head chef at "JIKI". Alternatively, you can enjoy Kanazawa's ryotei culture by partnering with famous restaurants such as "Tsubajin," "Suginoi," and "Gyokusen-tei.
The cafes, where you can enjoy chocolates with green tea or wine, will add color to your trip to Kanazawa with their space and service that skillfully incorporates both Japanese and Western sensibilities.
(Incidentally, Ishikawa Prefecture is the nation's largest consumer of chocolate!)
The "Enjoy Hokuriku in Summer Plan" offers a special course featuring summer ingredients at Higashiyama Wagons, along with a selection of recommended sweets.
